Finally got around to trying out Twhirl, a multi-platform client for Twitter that everyone's been raving about. It rocks - it's turned Twitter into something a bit more interesting (OK, so it was already, but I've been a bit slow). And then there's HelloTxt, which allows you to update Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn (and more) all at once. Handy.

Like this a lot, am enjoying Twitter. It really starts to take off not just when you update, but when it kicks off random and often quite useful little conversations.

Like you Robin, took me a while to get my head around Twitter. Syncing it with FB and using platforms such as Twhirl and the Netvibes plugin have made it much more interesting (and useful) for me.

As a big fan of the whole Twitter economy, I think both Twhirl and HelloTxt are good things. Personally, tho, I like to keep my occasional status updates on Fbook or LinkedIn separate from my deeper Twitter addiction. Chacun son goût, as I would say if I was cool enough to tweet in French.

hi there

Have any of you tried the latest social browser ?

I have been trying it for over a week now and it is Brilliant if you are in to social posting and advertising

this is not an affiliate link and it is a free browser which is based on firefox

just got to http://www.flock.com and download it....they have great tutorial videos on there to help you get started too.

You might want to checkout Ping.Fm as well.  That allows you to update just about every micro-media site as well as various social networks.
