Where's the mobile traffic going?

M:Metrics have just released figures showing the top 10 mobile domains in both the US and the UK.

A couple of things here that jumped out at me - compared to population size, the UK seems to have a more active mobile internet population, and it's interesting to see how far 3 is up the list (again compared to the number of subscribers they have compared to other UK operators) - surely anecdotal evidence that their pioneering of flat rate internet access is resulting in people using the mobile internet more (doh!).

I would be interested to see what mobile domains are popular in Japan - they are way ahead of the rest of the world in this area. In Tokyo the 'thumb tribe' is evident everywhere and at all times of the day, irrespective of age or gender. DoCoMo recently announced that they have 10 million subscribers on their flat data rates: http://wirelesswatch.jp/2007/05/02/docomo-flat-rate-data-subs-top-10-million/
